12–13 September 2026 - Mount Maunganui, New Zealand
For the first time, I am opening my private studio to a small group for a weekend of making, conversation, demonstration and critique.
Limited to six participants, this workshop is designed for curious people interested in creativity, making and the process of working with clay.
No previous experience is required.
Some participants may have worked with clay for decades. Others may be touching it for the first time. The focus of the weekend is not technical mastery, but exploration, experimentation and developing a deeper understanding of your own creative practice.
Throughout the weekend I will share demonstrations, discuss my working methods, and offer individual feedback and critique. We will spend time making, asking questions, sharing ideas and exploring the role creativity plays in our lives and work.
This is not a production workshop.
There is no set project, no rigid curriculum and no expectation that everyone will make the same thing.
Instead, the weekend is intended as an opportunity to make, think, ask questions and spend time in the company of others who are interested in the creative process.
